How to read a COA

Every certificate follows the same format: a sample summary, analytical results, and the supporting chromatogram and mass-confirmation data. Here's what each result means.

IDENTITY (LC-MS)

Identity — Confirmed

Mass spectrometry confirms the molecular weight matches the expected compound. The result reads "Confirmed" with the compound named under Analytical Results, and the Mass Confirmation spectrum at the bottom of the report shows the matching mass peaks.

PURITY (HPLC-UV)

Purity percentage

The chromatogram shows a single dominant peak for the target peptide. The purity figure — e.g. 99.95% — is the share of the sample that is the target compound versus impurities or related sequences.

NET CONTENT

Measured mg in the vial

The actual measured amount in the tested vial — e.g. 12.06 mg in a 10 mg vial. Use this figure, not the label, for precise research calculations; slight overfill is normal.

LOT + SAMPLE

Lot & sample details

Match the lot number printed on your vial to the lot on the certificate. The accession number, received/reported dates, and vial photo identify the exact batch that was tested.
